The effect is terrific, however the noise of the gimmick is louder than the instructions lead you to believe. I’ve overcome this by having the subject join me in a “meditation” chant/hum to concentrate our collective mental powers. Corny, but it works.

I have performed in a bar setting as well as in a quiet setting. People are amazed. I have somehow lost the small actuator but found suitable replacements locally. I start out explaining that I sent for a phychic trick and all I got was a bag full of different nuts and bolts and a paper saying that if you have any physic power you should be able to find at least one nut and bolt cobmo that will vibrate at the frequency of your physic power. I even let them feel the vibration if they want to. They never question the the vbrating noise if they do notice it after giving the expenation.

I don’t know why other magicians think the noise in an issue.
I showed it to my son, a fellow magician (He’s 23)and even though I did the trick 3 times, (Once in HIS hand) He didn’t even mention noise.
