Killer Bees are the mutant hybrid of timid European honey bees and their African cousins.
Like all superhero stories, the Killers were introduced to Brazil by mad scientists to help re-populate their diminishing Bee population.
But no-one could contain them…
In 1957, 26 swarms escaped quarantine and declared war on the western hemisphere.
Danger lurking in the skies, these villains will stalk their victims for up to 1/2 a mile..
We wanted to capture the darker bodies of these cold-face killers in our deck. Creating a harsh black back with toxic-waste yellow honeycomb spilt on the back.
The black faces display custom pips and hold a sinister simplicity. Like something you’d expect to see on a discarded barrel of methylamine.
Killer Bees are the result of an unsanctioned lab experiment when toxic-waste spilled into a delicate hive of Honey Bees.
Get them before they get you.
PLEASE NOTE: Killer Bees are now expertly printed on Cartamundi B9 stock, with their true linen finish. Same great design with longer lasting stock.

I gave these cards to my son, who had seen them on your website. He was really pleased with the intricate designs and the “feel” of the cards. Very, very nice. I’ll be checking out your website for future gifts for him.

I always carry a pack of cards in my purse and fell in love with the design for the Killer Bee deck (I also have the Super Bee deck to use in two-deck games). The cards are beautifully made, they feel substantial but are easy to shuffle. Im not quite sure the cardstock/paper they use because it feels smoother than normal playing cards. Everyone who plays in them remarks how nice they are- perfect for card games- I would highly recommend to anyone.

See the box is nice, start there but no sticker on the outside so very near on the outside so the cards are wrapped it cellophane on the inside. Very tidy. Includes a quote card I never heard before from Albert Einstein, didn’t know he cared about beesand how they donate to helping keep bees around. Gotta dig it. I bought 2 😉 should buy more they’re minimalist and actually cool. But they even give us the website for the bees, go Ellusionist you guys care above and beyond.
